This free kid’s retro apron pattern features a sweetheart neckline, half circle skirt and finishes above the knee with contrasting bias binding and ties (20″ long each).
The apron is 19” wide (at waist height) and 22” from top of bodice to bottom of skirt.
You will need 0.5 yards each of Harvest and Clouds (mint) from the Birch Fabric’s Homestead collection by Emily Isabella as well as the free kid’s retro apron pattern.
The pattern also includes a diagram for assembling the tiled pattern and quick reference instructions.*
I ended up making this free kid’s retro apron pattern as my daughter really liked the retro apron that I made for Birch Fabric. You can find the FREE retro apron pattern over on the Birch Blog today as part of the Homestead Blog Hop!
*because the construction of the kid’s retro apron is so straightforward and similar to the adult version, I didn’t include step by step photos. Instead you can reference the tutorial for the free retro apron pattern if you need any extra guidance!
