Now you may recall quite a while ago (back in 2010-remember that year?), I made a heat therapy pillow for my sister in law! Now her husband is always raving about how useful this pillow is and my sister in law suggested he would rather like one for himself for his birthday!
In my imagination great battles were fought over whose turn it is to use this wonderful heat therapy pillow that I had sewn, and always one to keep the peace, I whipped one up in what was my attempt at “boy fabric”.
I used an Organic Fairtrade Cotton Fabric (Summer Turquoise Plaid-No longer in stock) for the top and an Organic Fairtrade Sateen for the under side. I used buckwheat and lavender for the filling, so that when it is heated up (and even when it isn’t) you get a wonderful aromatherapy experience as well! The pattern is from Betz White‘s Sewing Green.
